    Новый импакт-фактор (8,974) журнала Всемирная психиатрия основывается на цитировании в 2012 г. публикаций, вышедших в печать в 2010 и 2011 гг. Импакт-фактор журнала в 2009 г. составил 3,896, в 2010 г. — 4,375, в 2011 г. — 5,562, в 2012 г. — 6,233.

    В настоящее время Всемирная психиатрия входит в пятерку наиболее цитируемых психиатрических изданий, наряду с Molecular Psychiatry, American Journal of Psychiatry, Archives of General Psychiatry и Biological Psychiatry. 

    Публикации, которые чаще всего цитировались в период расчета импакт-фактора: две публикации De Hert и соавт., посвященные соматической патологии при тяжелых психических расстройствах [1,2]; специальные статьи про устойчивость к экстремальным стрессовым воздействиям [3], профилактическую (противорецидивную) терапию при шизофрении [4] и долгосрочный анализ затрат при посттравматическом стрессовом расстройстве [5]; отчеты об исследованиях, посвященные оценке своего «Я» на ранних этапах шизофрении [6], влиянии социально-экономического неравенства во время кризиса на распространенность депрессии и суицидального поведения [7], рандомизированное контролируемое исследование трудоустройства с поддержкой в Англии [8]; статьи, посвященные разработке МКБ-11 [9-12]; методические документы и рекомендации ВПА [13-18]; форумы, посвященные тяготам работы психиатра [19], диагностике биполярного расстройства [20], расстройствам личности и соответствующей психопатологии [21], а также патофизиологии шизофрении [22-25].
